CPS is recognised as one of the 2020 UK’s Best Workplaces™

  • 05 May,2020

The great culture and strive for excellence are just two of the reasons why CPS employees choose to go to work every day. There are of course many other reasons and according to UK’s Best Workplaces™ ranking, just published by Great Place to Work®, CPS was once again recognised in this year’s ranking along with 161 other UK organisations.

2020 marks the third time CPS has been recognised by its employees as an organisation that promotes a healthy workplace culture through trust, pride and employee empowerment. Stephen Adams, Managing Director at CPS said: “The culture within CPS is a strategic priority and something that everyone plays a part in creating. All employees feel valued, trusted and have the ability and support to grow professionally. We are proud how our employees bring our business to life and generate our continued success.”

To determine an organisation’s ranking, Great Place to Work® administers their Trust Index survey® to employees which represents 3/4 of the final score. The remaining quarter of the score comes from the Culture Audit®, a business-driven questionnaire that uncovers and evaluates the organisation’s HR and leadership practices, policies and culture.

Scoring highly across all elements of the evaluation, CPS’ overall score is 6% higher than the external benchmark figure and understanding the perspective of employees is key to building a successful workplace environment. Stephen continued: “We want our place of work to be as happy and enjoyable as possible. Alongside the free, fresh coffee, monthly ‘fat’ Fridays (where CPS provides the lunch) and regular office Xbox tournaments, we also provide mentoring programmes, professional qualification sponsorships, and an open-door policy to all levels of management to facilitate trust, honesty and transparency to our colleagues.”
