Tenant Level Analytics

Historically, being able to report on all the Apps and Flows within your tenant meant installing the ‘Microsoft Power Platform Centre of Excellence Starter Kit’ or conceding to the limited analytical data within the Power Platform Admin Centre.

With the introduction of ‘Tenant Level’ analytics, tenant admins can now view reports of their Power App and Power Platform usage across all environments within their tenant, in a single dashboard – significantly improving the visibility of who’s creating what, who’s using them and in what environment.

In addition to having better visibility of day-to-day usage, Power Platform administrators are able to use these updates to identify stale and orphaned Power Apps and Flows deployed across multiple environments or the entire tenant.

So – what does Tenant Level Analytics provide an admin with:

Usage Report

Tenant Level Usage Report provides insights into tenant and environment usage of all Apps and Flows, such as:

Enabling Tenant Level Analytics

Tenant Level Analytics isn’t enabled by default; and unfortunately, the data required for the reports is only collected AFTER enablement.

To enable tenant-level analytics, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Power Platform admin centre
  • Select the Gearicon in the upper-right corner, and then select Power Platform settings.
  • Turn on the option to Enable tenant-level analytics.
