MICROSOFT ROADMAP FEATURES FOR PROJECT TO LAUNCH NOVEMBER 14TH
- 18 October,2018
In September Microsoft announced the development of three new services for Project to be released over the next 12 months.
Hot on the heels of the recent new ‘Project Home’ functionality for Project Online users, Microsoft has just announced the imminent launch of the new ‘Roadmap’ feature.
Scheduled for a rolling release form the 14th November this will give users in your organisation a cross-functional, big picture view of all projects underway.
With Roadmap, it won’t matter whether teams are using Microsoft Project or Azure Boards (formerly VSTS). Organisations will be able to create timeline views of multiple projects, complete with key dates and milestones, so that all the work is visible in one place.
In future releases, Microsoft will add support for Planner and third-party services like Jira, making Project Roadmap a one-stop shop for managing work across your organisation.
The Project Roadmap feature will be available after November 14, 2018. By default it will be ‘Off’ and will require an administrator action to enable.
CPS as always are ahead of the game and ready to work with you to discuss effective implementation of the new services.
