About the role:

This is a pivotal role, responsible for all aspects of the Marketing plan – both online and offline. To be successful, you will need to have a strategic and highly analytical approach, measuring success, making amendments, driving change.

You will lead all aspects of marketing from demand generation campaigns, in person events, website development including the curation of a content roadmap, aligned SEO tactics and strong inbound generation.

Central to the role is driving digital marketing strategies that support client acquisition and retention as well as more traditional approaches such as breakfast briefings, trade events and workshop creation.

Reporting to the Head of Client Engagement and Communications the successful applicant will engage with key internal subject matter experts, sales and marketing leaders as well as partners to create structured go to market campaigns and propositions. The role has a Senior Marketing Executive and two Marketing Assistants reporting to them.

Specific Role Requirements

  • Create, plan and deliver a sustained digital marketing plan focusing on all aspects of the client lifecycle from client acquisition through to retention
  • Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies
  • Manage and oversee email and social media marketing campaigns, including Follower adoption to key channels and target audiences
  • Drive traffic to the website through compelling content, strong SEO and backlink engagement
  • Write compelling content for online dissemination – videos, graphics, blog posts, web pages
  • Manage our CRM solution and associated reporting
  • Lead Account Based Marketing strategies to create cross and upsell opportunities in large accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Line management of Senior Marketing Executive and two Marketing Assistants
  • Leadership and development of the operational Marketing plan
  • Deliver structured campaigns to time and budget with strong ROI
  • Achieve key KPIs on lead generation, content curation, website engagement and social followers
  • Grow and mature website content including blogs, PR and compelling propositions
  • Event management – own and third party
  • Manage third party agencies – graphic design, web and copywriters
  • Measure and report campaign and key online metrics

Essential Skills

  • CIM or equivalent qualification
  • B2B technology marketing background
  • Microsoft Dynamics Marketing
  • Umbraco
  • Hootsuite
