Aimed at Project Managers, Line Managers or Team Leaders. Provides an introduction to, or a refresher on, planning and project management fundamentals prior to training in Microsoft Project. At the end of the course delegates will understand what project management is, the planning process and basic risk and quality concepts. Earn PMI Professional Development Units on this course.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course. Aimed at Project Managers, Line Managers, Team Leaders or Planners who need to create and manage plans and resources using Microsoft Project. At the end of the course delegates will be able to develop structured, logically linked, resourced plans and monitor them using baseline and tracking techniques.
Prerequisites: An understanding of planning concepts and processes. Aimed at Programme Managers, Project Managers, Line Managers, Team Leaders or Planners who need to manage individual or groups of plans and resources using Microsoft Project. At the end of the course delegates will be able to create complex master and sub-project plans, use central resource pools and understand the costing and earned value capabilities of Microsoft Project.
Prerequisites: CPS 701 or equivalent. Aimed at those who need to manage plans within an EPM environment. At the end of the course delegates will understand how to use the collaborative functions of MS Project including Build Team from Enterprise, Publishing and how to update plans from timesheets. Delegates will also understand the additional capabilities of Project Web Access, including Data Analysis and Project Workspaces.
Prerequisites: CPS 301/701 or equivalent Team Members will understand how to use Project Web Access to view project plans in which they are involved and be able to review and update task assignments and timesheets.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course. Aimed at Project Support Office and those who will administer the Project Server. On completion delegates will be able to create and maintain users, understand permissioning, edit and manage both the Enterprise Global and Enterprise Resource Pool, create Custom Fields and Views in both MSP and PWA. Delegates will also be able to carry out limited database administration.
Prerequisites: CPS 701 and 703 or equivalent experience. |
