CPS demonstrate the potential of Microsoft EPM to MBA students at the University of Westminster

Christopher Pond, New Business Manager at CPS has been working in association with the University of Westminster’s, Westminster Business School, to lecture on the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management solution including the soon to be released Project 2010 solution.

Students on the MBA course learnt about the key benefits of the solution, how to align the solution to processes, the core functionality and capabilities plus how to approach a successful implementation.

Change Management was also covered by Chris in the sessions which formed part of the Project Management elective module in Phase 2 of the MBA course.   Students at the University of Westminster can choose this module from a list of possible modules.  It has proven to be extremely popular with students currently being required to use Microsoft Project 2007 to present a project plan and present reports.

Brian Heagney, Module leader for Project Management explains:

‘For the past two years, Chris has demonstrated to several cohorts the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management tool set, a server software for senior managers which automates the management of programmes of projects. Chris has been very generous with his time and the students certainly gain from their exposure to the software.’
