Esteem Systems is a specialist IT system integrator and has been designing, implementing and managing complex IT infrastructure solutions for more than 20 years. Sustained growth and expansion in services has meant that Esteem has needed to look for a new Enterprise-wide Project Management solution that will support the effective management of a portfolio of both internal and external projects and resources.
Esteem Systems is a multi site organisation with a requirement for users to be able to access the system from any location. Esteem required an integrated system that would allow project managers to plan both active and potential projects supporting both current and future resource forecasting and then once projects are live would allow team members to book time against using an easy timesheet interface. The Microsoft EPM solution proved after careful evaluation able to meet these requirements as well as to provide users with a familiar working experience.
"Having selected the Microsoft EPM solution and as an IT system Integrator ourselves, we recognised and understood the need for an expert partner to help us with the implementation. After assessing the market place we felt there was a clear leader; Corporate Project Solutions, who had the ideal mix of both product and industry experience to help us maximise on the benefits of the EPM toolset” - Gary Pearson, Esteem Systems Professional Services Director.
"Esteem Systems set very stringent evaluation criteria for their choice of both a solution and the implementation partner. We are particularly pleased to have been selected by Esteem and look forward to working with them over the coming months. The engagement with Esteem Systems will further enhance our extensive portfolio of Technology clients." - Christopher Pond, Head of Business Development at Corporate Project Solutions.
Esteem specialises in delivering a full and comprehensive range of IT services that are designed to care for the entire lifecycle of an IT infrastructure. Since Esteem was founded in 1985, it has proven its success with rapid, sustained growth.

At the recent PPSO SIG conference discussing "Tools, Approaches and Techniques…. Why Bother?", Corporate Project Solutions contributed a session, delivered by David Dunning, that made the case for PPSOs of all descriptions caring for all their project data in a single data repository and application. The Microsoft Project Server suite was demonstrated as a complete Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management solution, seeking to dispel some of the myths that still linger in the minds of project professionals who still remember the Project 2000 / Project Central solution.
Talking about and demonstrating the "art of the possible" that an EPM solution can bring by storing all projects data in one place and operating on it as a single entity, David gave real food for thought to the conference attendees, and certainly stimulated some discussion both in the conference, and in the bar afterwards!
"It was great to have David along to our conference to share some of the possibilities that an EPM solution opens up for PSOs and PMOs of every kind. Our members were certainly stimulated to think of the benefits that having a single and coherent data source for the projects and programmes ecosystem can bring to their own organisations, and also to understand the wider capabilities of the Microsoft Project Server solution." - Chris Walters, PPSO SIG Chairman
