The EPK-Suite is built on the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solution platform. The modules that make up the suite seamlessly integrate through an enhanced Project Web Access (PWA) user interface, increasing the business value of your investment in the Microsoft EPM Solution.
The following modules comprise the EPK-Suite and are available individually
EPK-Portfolio™ helps manage all the items in your portfolio through the stage gates of your business processes - from initial thought to close out. Portfolio items can consist of Project schedules, non-project work such as operational support and items that are not associated with Microsoft Project plans, for example as proposed projects before a plan is created. Using the features of EPK-Portfolio, you can ensure alignment with corporate objectives through balanced scorecards and a number of comparison view formats.
EPK-Resources provides the ability to carry out capacity planning at the portfolio item level without the need to create detailed resource assignments. Using the features of EPK-Resources you can search for team members and view their commitments across all the organization.
EPK-Time™ is a full functionality timesheet with capabilities for dual approval by line and project managers, proxy login, charging of hours to all effort including projects, operational support, and non-working time, comprehensive viewing/reporting of current and historical time charges, and interface capability to financial/billing systems.
EPK-Suite uses the same technology as PWA: ASP pages and ActiveX controls. The EPK modules obey all the security rules for project and resource access established through the Microsoft Project Server security model. Additionally, specific EPK security objects have been added, allowing the Project Server Administrator to control access to EPK-Suite functionality.
