ABRO
Corporate Project Solutions (CPS) were selected by ABRO in December 2001 to manage the successful implementation of Microsoft Project 2000 and Project Central. During the course of the rollout and with the announcement of Project 2002, it became immediately apparent to the consulting team that the major advances in resource and portfolio management that Project 2002 provided would be of strategic benefit to ABRO in realising their goals of resource optimisation and visibility. CPS therefore undertook a series of business briefings to highlight these benefits to key ABRO staff.
As a result of the briefings, CPS was then engaged to undertake a pilot implementation as a proof of concept. Throughout the contract, the CPS team has worked closely with ABRO staff to ensure best practise and easy transfer of skills, leaving ABRO in the position to take the solution forward themselves in the future.

Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Corporate Project Solutions helped install and configure Project Server 2007 as part of the pilot, which also saw the division’s project support office test the improved integration with Microsoft Office Excel® 2007. Project Support Office employees have found Office Project 2007 saves time and allows them to make better decisions.

Eden Project

Although relatively new, the project has quickly become one of the most popular visitor attractions in the UK. The complex includes two giant, transparent domes, each emulating a natural biome, that house plant species from around the world.

LCH.Clearnet
LCH.Clearnet Limited occupies a unique position in the City, providing services to banks and financial houses. Its IT infrastructure has to be able to clear trades on six different exchanges plus OTC products such as swaps and repos. LCH.Clearnet is currently managing a programme of over 30 live projects designed to upgrade and unify existing IT systems. In order to help manage this complex environment, LCH.Clearnet has implemented the Microsoft Project EPM solution.
