From basic navigation around a SharePoint site to the configuration and administration of a SharePoint Server installation, the CPS SharePoint Courses offer users a variety of learning choices.

  • SharePoint User - CPS 731, 1 day
    • Aimed at non technical end users. By the end of the course they will be able to navigate around a SharePoint site to find the information they require. They will be able to edit existing content and upload new content to SharePoint sites. In addition, delegates will be familiar with the use of collaborative tools such as Blogs, Wikis and Discussion Boards.
  • SharePoint Site Owner - CPS 732, 2 days
    • Aimed at non technical end users who will be responsible for the management of team members as well as SharePoint team sites and workspaces. By the end of the course they will be able to create and manage a range of content that will aid collaborative working within a team site. As well as creating document libraries, uploading content and creating workflows, delegates will be able to create and manage tools such as Wikis, Blogs and Discussion Boards. Delegates will also have an understanding of how to manage permission levels and customize the layout and structure of a site.
  • SharePoint Configuration - CPS 738, 3 days
    • Aimed at Application Administrators who will be responsible for the configuration and administration of a SharePoint Server installation. By the end of this course delegates will be able configure, administer and customise an installation of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Delegates will benefit from the opportunity of hands on training based around typical business requirements, with scenario based configuration exercises and interactive discovery sessions.
